The Hemphills.com offers
three (3) different audio formats to choose from, REAL Audio,
Windows Media, and MP3. With all of the different browser
versions and operating systems in use on the internet, we hope that
you will find at least one compatible version that you can listen
to. REAL
AUDIO:
- Real Audio
samples are lower fidelity versions encoded for Dial-up (28.8K
- 56K) connections.
- Audio clips
are compatible for IE 4+ browsers and Netscape 4+ browsers, but
you must have the Real Media Player or plugin installed.
- Real Audio
Player can also be set to play MP3 files. Select .mp3 file type
in the "Preferences" or "Options" menu when
the real media player is open.
WINDOWS MEDIA:
- Windows
Media samples are lower fidelity versions encoded for Dial-up
(28.8K - 56K) connections.
- Internet
Explorer browser and Windows Operating System is required.
- Windows
Media Player can also be set to play MP3 files. Select .mp3 file
type in the "Preferences" or "Options" menu
when the windows media player is open.
MP3:
- MP3 samples
are higher fidelity versions encoded for Broadband type (Cable,
DSL) connections.
- File sizes
are much larger than the Real Audio and Windows Media samples.
